Thanks, it’s exactly what I’was looking for. But I want to filter activity only for groups activity, not for global activity. Do you know how I can do this ?

I use W3 Total Cache on my site after having it recommended to me by @lincme. It’s more of a complete caching system as opposed to just a “minify” plugin. You’ll need to have a decent PHP memory_limit for it to function though so be forewarned as it probably won’t work if you’re on a shared hosting [...]

Hi @lincme.co.uk; yes, that kind of puts a nice full stop on its display. It doesn’t get rid of the problem of ‘dots’ being added on other elements you might want (like the delete option) though. I’m solving it, by putting my own simple API calls in bp_custom.php (I guess they’d work in functions.php as well) [...]

@lincme.co.uk, I think we basically agree, but your remark sounded similar to the standard defense of BP, that it is so great because you can do absolutely anything with it. My counter-argument to that unavoidably sounds rigid and over-important.
