@mrwiblog Code Monkey in Chief at stillbreathing.co.uk · http://www.stillbreathing.co.uk

I've been messing around with PHP for about 8 years, and have done pretty much nothing but Wordpress sites for the last 4 years. I love it, so I jumped at the chance to donate code to the Buddypress project. What else? Oh yeah, I play music (am I the only web developer in the world with a degree in jazz studies? Thought so.) I'm married and have too many kids to count. Things I'm involved with online: - MyJournal: social networking, blogging and online showrooms for business - Performer: making JavaScript features even easier to use; add AJAX and more to your pages without writing a single line of JavaScript code - BeatsBase: blogging and free mix hosting (1gb per user!) for DJs - My blog: thoughts from InternetLand - projectGenie: free, open source, web-based project management software I've also started to write Wordpress plugins, mainly for Wordpress MU. The list is too long, and changes regularly, so check out the latest here: wordpress.org/extend/plugins/profile/mrwiblog.

    @MrWiblog @MrWiblog Hey.. We downloaded your voucherpress plug and it has a lot of features that we are looking forward to using..
    I have a couple of questions for you and are wondering if you might be interested in creating a custom voucher plug for our business and what that might cost..

    @MrWiblog I would like to give my users ability to add a person as a family member, friend, or other contact. Instead of a current “add a friend” button in Buddypress, it would have another button label “add a contact” or “FFO” button {FFO = Family, Friend, Other contact). Then the user will have the ability to assign this particular contact to…[Read more]

    is there any way to require member login / registration before downloading the voucher.

    @MrWiblog Hello,
    This plugin is a life saver. I have a BIG need and am willing to even pay you a bit for the modification. Can it be stripped down to where it will input a custom code but not need any text etc? I am having a lot of luck with cool designs by using the template but HAVING to insert text seems to be a craps shoot as to where the code…[Read more]

    @MrWiblog Hi Chris, I liked your profile. I am also having similar background as yours. And loving wordpress for past 6 years.

    I am using secure invites by you in one of my projects. I was just wondering whether i can provide my site users the facility to bulk invite users from front end itself.

    Thanks in advance,

    Regards,
    Sam.

    @MrWiblog Chris,

    Thanks a lot for your hard work on the Demo Data Creator plugin. It can/will save a ton of time. However, I can’t seem to get it to function correctly. I am using WP 3.0.4 with Multisite. Your plugin creates data, but it’s not working to create new sites. It will create their names, so you can see them in super admin, but when…[Read more]

    • Are you using the latest version? Can you send me a link to your site so I can take a look?

      • I’m using 0.9.7.5 with WP 3.05. You can view my demo site here:

        http://wackywhites.info/wp/

        Just goto the blogs tab and click a couple of the blogs. Most will come up with a 404. To me, it seems like the blogs are only partially installed, part of the install failed, or part of the install went to an incorrect location, but idk.

    • This will be a problem with one of the other plugins you have running printing output in the wrong place. Try turning off all your plugins (except secure invites) then turning them on one at a time and refreshing the page between each plugin. That will tell you which plugin breaks the site.

    @MrWiblog Hi, I am having the same issue as others with corrupted pdf’s in your otherwise excellent Voucherpress plugin. I am currently running php 5.1.2 which was brought up as a fix in the forum, but unfortunately nothing has changed. Do you have any other ideas? I am using this plugin on a buddypress site and using wp 3.0.1.
