usernames have to be lowercase all one word no spaces – capitals and spaces will reject
to add that info to your registration form

amazingly this works even with WordPress 3.0.1. and buddypress 1.2.6 using custom community theme – at least time will tell if there are any bugs

the problem is confined to replies to postings in a group activity stream its ok if you reply in the main activity stream and if you view the post first then reply if a reply goes missing if you view the original post and then reply to it hey presto the missing reply is visible [...]

I should have said it can’t be a cookie issue unless the cookie is on the server which makes no sense

Its not the same computer @modemlooper – somehow the registration form prompts this phantom name – it can’t be a cookie issue – haven’t found a fix yet @jaredgoyette

one futher clue is that I found the firstname second name field on my admin profile had been changed to ANNE and PORTER

thanks @modemlooper its the registration form not the login that autofills i reckon it must be a cookie issue – a cookie that remembers what you have put in each box so that if it flags up an incorrect entry you don’t have to start over again somehow it has written the cookie to my server? [...]

This is spooky!

The name field on my BP registration form autofills with ANNE PORTER

Have tried this looking at this on various PC’s and the form comes up with ANNE PORTER prefilled in the name field

I’m using custom community theme

Any ideas?

disables converting absolute url to relative,

BP-TinyMCE is an invaluable plugin but the link editor opens in a new window rather than a popup and as a result absolute links get converted to relative links with all their problems

Is there away to change this or at least stop the link being changed to relative?

Still hoping for a fix to this….

The problem seems to be simply that BP-TinyMCE doesn’t open the link editor in a pop up like in Wordpress Blogs

How can this be fixed?

Firstly BP would be fairly useless without this plugin – so thanks! I noticed that placing a hyperlink into a group description pointing at say an uploaded document works but only when viewing the group in admin mode As soon as you switch to the default group page view the url maps to the wrong [...]
