Labels in “My Account” – Groups and Album…and also the “Change Avatar”
I could not get this to work at all. I dont know what I’m doing wrong. Is there an easier way to do this. Does anyone do custom work that could do this for a fee. Let me know. Thanks.
Try this but it did not work –
Create another user, give them admin privileges, and a name other than ‘Admin’.
the post still appeared in the “Activity” of the network. Why?????
Okay a I know about Twitter. I clicked on my “mention” and I got this response:
Sorry, there was no activity found. Please try a different filter.
So do I go to my friends page to mention….I tried in my comments to @name but nothing happened…lost here.
I’m using Dynamix theme. No I am not using a child theme. when I use the BP links my logo wont show up, but when I use the links in the menu that I created the logo populates. When I switch to the bp default theme I have the same problem. so I thought if I disable the BP menu all together I could avoid that problem???
Went thur all the steps but it did not work for me.
Oh just thought about what you are asking…..I took off my “coming soon” page, logged out, then went to my site…now I can see the registration page….Thanks just was not thinking….could not see the registration page because I was already logged in as admin…many thanks…..
I dont quite understand the whole question….I am logged in…what do you mean by redirected away from registering?????
I checked it with the bp-default theme and it did not work there either. The registration page I’m using is the one the bp setup for me by default http://www.mysite.com/register but it goes automatically to my homepage http://www.mysite.com/
Yes I’m using a purchased theme called Dynamix. Yes I have enable new registration in wp-admin and the I did this in admin under Buddypress – Pages

Associate WordPress Pages with the following BuddyPress Registration pages.
Register New Page View – Register
Activate New Page View – Activate
The Activate page is working but not the Register.
