Great thanks! I’ll check it out.
Happy new year!
In reply to: [resolved] turn off site wide forumOkay. That’s great. I got rid of it. Thanks. The next thing I need to do is just get people to automatically join a group when they are registered, so they don’t have to create a group to post.
In reply to: AutoJoin new members to groupI notice that in BuddyPress settings> “Restrict group creation to Site Admins?” won’t let me choose yes or no.
In reply to: [resolved] Testing with a new screen nameI can see my activity under “Your Activity” now so that’s good enough for me.
In reply to: [resolved] Can’t find my Topics after I post themI am seeing my posts under “Your Activity” now, so that’s good enough for me. Thanks again.
In reply to: [resolved] Can’t find my Topics after I post themThank you @mercime for replying to this. I have now changed my display name so it is completely different from my login name. I went onto WordPress.org and changed it there as well. I’m still not seeing the Topics Started under forum>topics started.
I tried starting a new topic too, but still nothing.
In reply to: [resolved] Testing with a new screen nameI changed it on WordPress.org as well. Still can’t see my posts under forums>topics started
In reply to: Multisite install on non root site is not workingWhen I enable mutiblog I see it in all subdomain sites, but you are saying that when I make it one subdomain site the buddypress settings only show up in the Multisite admin. Is that right?
I have seen some posts where I have to put the code in the bp-custom.php file and others where they say to put the code in the wp-config.php file. Which is correct?
