Add to Activity Streams

    I want to add to the activity streams. Are their any built in functions to allow this? or do I have to write a custom function to insert the activity into the DB table?

    i guess the action I need to use is bp_activity_screen_my_activity. just not sure about the function.

    Didn’t see any other threads on this topic. If I missed them, please put a link :)
