best way to updates rc2 to rc3??

I have a fully utilized 1.2rc2 site and want to upgrade to rc3 with no disruption to users’ content. How can I do that?

I’ll have the same question from beta to release. I’m assuming overwrite, but would love guidance.

Just overwrite the buddypress folder.
