BP as a talentplatform?

    Hi,

    I’m looking into BP for a new project which is something similar to this: http://www.talenttrove.com/. It’s basically a talent platform where the talents can upload their media, communicate with other talents and where scouts can search through the talents and start auditions etc.

    Can this be done with BP or should I develop it as a standalone script (not WordPress that is)?

    Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

    Yes, it can be done.

    You’ll want to install come plugins such as the “Custom Profile Filters for BuddyPress” plugin and some type of picture album plugin, either here (which you have to pay for) or here (which is brand new and probably still has bugs).
