Buddybar shows one notification, but there is none

    I have upgraded to last BP and a few users of my website started to get the following issue.

    Buddybar shows 1 new notification, but on hovering nothing drops down. Somehow counter added extra notification and I cannot find a way to reset it. When I get additional real notification, it shows “2″ but only one notification is shown in drop down.

    Is there a way for user to get rid off empty notification or is it BP fault?

    If you had a plugin that created a notification which you’ve now disabled, that would cause it. Does this apply to your site?

    it could be the case as I have disabled some plugins. Is there a way to reset notifications or perhaps make changes thru database?
