Buddypress 1.9 & bp-legacy templates

    Hi

    I have a site that I made with a custom theme design with bp-legacy templates

    was when I used buddypress 1.7 and 1.8 but, with buddypress 1.9, there are many changes, also in bp-legacy too

    my question is

    How to change new files buddypress 1.9 bp-legacy, to use in my custom template without losing my changes?

    What changes? There aren’t any real changes to template files.

    To avoid losing custom work to template files one should always be working in a child theme or a theme that has had the bp-legacy template files copied over to run directly in the theme i.e overloading the files BP uses from it’s core template files.

    You may need to explain exactly what your approach has been to templating, what files you have adjusted and in what location, and what changes you see that you need to deal with in your custom templates then people will be able to provide better help.
