BuddyPress.org

I installed WordPress mu 2.7 and the BuddyPress beta on a new site. It seems that BuddyPress is not recognizing my administrative user as a BuddyPress user, nor any user I create through the administrative panel. When I try to go to my user through the BuddyPress home theme (rather than through the administration panel), I get the following:

I also tried using WordPress 2.65 under a new install, and the same thing happened.
