Create groups in 1.2

Am I just stupid or am I missing something in 1.2? I just loaded mu 2.9.1.1 and the latest trunk, 1.2-beta, and I have all components enabled but I cannot create any groups, either through the dashboard or via my profile. Is this something that I’m missing or is there another way I’m supposed to create them?

I tried the trunk version on a WP single user installation and got the same issue : no links to create a new group are showing where they should be.

But http://exemple.com/members/admin/groups/create/step/group-details gave me the create group page and I was able to create a group.

But only one. When I try again, the same group is showing and I can just overwrite the former one.

Good to know that it’s not just me. Wanted to test some deep integration things with group forums but can’t since I can’t create groups. I’ll wait to see what’s going on.

In 1.2 the create group link has been moved to Groups directory page.

go to your site->Groups directory, you will see the link to create group.

I found the link. Didn’t realize you couldn’t manage them from site admin anymore.

I think it’s much more intuitive now actually. For users anyway.
