Customizing My front Page

I would like to customizw my start page.

I’m tryin to:

1. Delete the widget section on the right and the warning that says “login to ad widgets”

2. Center and widen my pages to close the gap where the missing widget was.

You are talking about building your own custom theme. Two pieces of advice. Read the BuddyPress Codex articles on theming found here:

- https://codex.buddypress.org/how-to-guides/building-a-buddypress-child-theme/
And secondly, use Firefox with FireBug.
