Edit button in top bar goes to the wrong page

    For some reason the edit button at the top in the admin bar goes to the same edit reply no matter what page or post I am actually on. Any idea what could cause this problem?

    Do you want to be a little more specific? What edit button? the only ‘edit’ button I have in the adminbar is the WP post or page edit link, Does BP add one then?

    Yes it is the WP post and page edit link at the top.

    @ninjaface – I have not encountered this issue before. The way I would troubleshoot is:

    Deactivate All Plugins
    Switch to Default theme
    Does this fix the problem? If so, then the problem is either your custom theme or a plugin issue. If the problem persists taking the above steps, then try re-installing WordPress and BuddyPress.
