@krazy-kat – Thanks for catching this bug.
A workaround in the meantime is to turn on the “Activity Streams” component.
To do this, login to the WP admin dashboard and navigate to “Settings > BuddyPress”. Check “Activity Streams” and save.
We’ll fix this bug up for v2.0.1.
It also seems to not catch comment activities correctly…

When you post a comment under a news article, I am getting this error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function bp_activity_get_activity_id() in /hermes/bosoraweb186/b1302/ipg.krazykatschatcom/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-blogs/bp-blogs-functions.php on line 632
iPage told me to uninstall and re-install buddypress. I am using both bbpress 2.5.3/buddypress 2.0
WP 3.9 I did the un/re-install and still get this. HELP! Please! I’m not a computer nerd at all. 🙁
