Hello all,

I am sure that this has been asked before, but i can’t find the right information or plugins that do the job.

What do i need to add to my website so that the group forums display the same UI as you get here on Buddypress ?

I am wanting to include the buttons that you see above the post window and the tag information that you see below it in the green box.

Any guidance would be very much appriciated.

I just want the elements in the image to appear in my group forums? There must be a way of doing it ? no ?

We’re using bbPress 2 here for the forums; the recent release of bbPress 2 integrates nicely into BuddyPress. Are you using the “group forums” built into BuddyPress (aka bbPress 1)?

Im using “group forums” with buddypress 1.6.1 and WP 3.4.2.

I was wondering the above thing. Is it possible to have it in the “group forums”.

You can build it yourself, if you wanted. But i’d recommend you migrate to using the bbPress 2 plugin https://codex.buddypress.org/buddypress-site-administration/migrating-from-old-forums-to-bbpress-2/
