How can I get individualy User Nav items?

    Hi All,
    I need to completely revamp the user navigation. I don’t need all the top level and sub navigation. I want to create a single user navigation menu with the items in it I want to include.

    Here’s something along the lines of what I am looking to do:

    Activity
    Public Profile
    Edit Profile
    Friends
    Notifications
    Settings

    And that would be it in my user navigation. Any ideas on how I can get these individual nav items? I know I can add and remove items but I can’t find any info on getting certain or particular nav items.
