how to appropiately place this sidebar?

    Okay guys I have this huge hassle with placing this sidebar. Okay I have made some css basically copying modemloopers css code for three column bp-columns theme he made and I was able to tweak the margins and get the side bar to the right of my content area but the problem is that at the all members page the sidebar widget is at the top where I want it to be but when I go to activity page the widget for the added sidebar is at the very first comment box. how can I fix this and also my theme looks different in internet explorer is there anything I can do for that?

    okay you see how you added 1 left side bar I was able to do the same thing with different name in functions.php but the place where the sidebar must be I can’t get it to be. I can’t set the margins so I would have 3 sidebars along with my content like facebook you see how they have 1 side bar for chat , 1 for ads, 1 for navigation and finally 1 main content area?

    Oh, the functions code has nothing to do with actually creating a sidebar in your theme. You would have to add HTML and CSS. The function code is for WordPress to know where to place widgets.

    thanks my friend but can I ask where would I add this html and css can I make a third-sidebar.php file and add the html and also add the css to my custom-css file?
