How to change pagination arrows to ”Previous page” and ”Next page”

Hi there,
Is there a way to change the pagination arrows (ie. ‘less than symbol-‘ and ‘-greater than symbol’) that appear on the Members list, Groups list? For web accessibility purposes, I would like to change the wording to “Previous page” and “Next page” instead, but without hacking the core files. Is there a way to do this?
