I can’t access any file in a subfolder of my site linked from a post or page…

When I try to upload a file and post the link in a post on buddypress, once I click the link it takes me to another page from my blog and saying there was nothing there…

but It is because I upload it via ftp and it is there…

any help?

I doesn’t matter if it is a .doc file pdf, pages…

If I just add a document or a file to a post, the link, it shows the message ” The page you were looking for was not found”

How can I fix it?

You’re going to need be a little more detailed in your explanation of what you’re trying to do, if people are going to be able to help out.

uploaded via the backend, media library type of thing or simply uploaded via ftp and dumped in some folder?
