Is there a BuddyPress “censoring” plugin?

    I’ve noticed that all of the WordPress Censoring/Word Replacer plugins I’ve tried don’t carry over to BuddyPress. Things like Activity updates and comments don’t get caught in the censor filter.

    Are there any BuddyPress censoring filters/plugins currently or will future versions of BP have anything like that?

    Not aware of any plugins nor plans for anything like that in core, though we will be improving moderation generally.

    Try the bp moderation plugin https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/bp-moderation/ its only compatible for WP 3.2.1 and BP 1.5 Its not an automatic solution but it does help if a member is posting inappropriate activity, and it allows other members of the community to flag it and you as an admin will receive a notification in the dashboard that will let you decide how to handle the flagged item.
