Does anybody know some tool how can I realize if my buddypress installation is too slow ? If YES , How can I realize which plugin cause that ? Do you already know the plugin causing huge server load ? Some people says that my website is too slow , I feel it too , but buddypress.org seems to me slow too , most of buddypress installations I have seen seems to me slow too.
I am aware that my website should be slow, because I have about 50 plugins installed , I would be glad to know which one is causing the biggest server load to substitute it by another or removing it , does exist some tool how can I realize that ? I am going to use W3 total cache plugin but as far as I know it helps if you have a lot pictures , I have only few of them yet.

  • Don’t add more plugins e.g w3 toatal cache until you have identified whether you actually have an issue otherwise you are simply attempting to cure the symptoms not the cause. caching is necessary for when pages legitimately have a lot of objects and thus slower load times start to manifest.

You need to start troubleshooting, beginning by stripping your install back to basics, only necessary plugins, if then still too slow you need to start looking at your server config, if responsive then start adding back plugins one by one testing load times as you go. (fwiw I recently slowed an install by running a wp_update function on each page call this delayed loading by 14 secs until I had conditional wrapped the function to run once only)

If you are on a $5/month hosting account, pretty much anything you do will eventually be slow.

@hnla thank you for your respond , I thought that I will be finally forced to do that with all my plugins , I also thought that somewhere should exists some tool which is able to realize which plugin should do that , or if is already known fact that for example I have noticed that most of google maps plugins are calling google website even when no map is currently on the page , and I think that it causes bigger server load , or if somebody knows that it is better to do not use for example “followers plugin” because it is getting website slower (it was example) , I hoped somebody should say how they are experiencing their website script speed with their plugins .
@Andrea_r I am on Bluehost for 5 ys. and it is true that all my scripts seems to run slower , is it much more bigger difference to go for dedicated server ? I was thinking about dedicated server , but my website is not running yet , I have no earnings from that , hoping I will in near future , but before I didn’t want to spend a too much money .

You don’t need a dedicated server they are expensive to run a good VPS will work fine and is so close to being a dedicated srver anyway and you won’t notice the difference but you will compared to shared hosting.

As for tools not aware of any other than browser extensions such as httpFox or simply reading server logs to determine where page loading issues lie
