Messaging broken all of a sudden

    While I have not touched any of the messaging components, I now receive an error

    “Message could not be sent, please try again”

    I re-installed bp-messages folder and bp-messages.php to no avail. What else could be screwing this up now?

    moving on. corrupt database. total re-install. much joy

    yew. not good. my member theme stopped working yesterday for no apparent reason. not as bad as a trashed db but same results. i changed something in header.php, uploaded it and things stopped functioning in bp’s member theme.

    checked the file

    checked the error logs ‘Fatal error: no such thing as bp_search_form()’. ‘eh?

    checked the file in a hex editor

    deleted the file on the server and re-uploaded

    replaced the file from svn

    replaced the file from my backup

    had to reinstall all the bp code

    dunno.
