My profile pictures dont show up

    Am using wordpress 3.5.1 and buddypress 1.7 on windows 8.
    I installed the buddypress alongside bbpress to manage my groups.. When i visit site upon the design and click on my name as an admin, i get an erro(page cannot be found)

    do i have to install a plugin for members to upload picture for their profile. Am making it a social network for my college. Please help me.
    How do i show the profile picture of a member upon login?

    I think you should change your permalinks to something else ? Have you ever do that ?

    yeah. i have seen permalinks on the settings page.. but change it to what? i already changed it to post name but still problem.. How can i upload my profile picture for it to show? any plugin? am very confused please help me.
