Need Help W/BuddyPress+Facebook Website (Creative Input needed, TIA!)

    Hello Everyone,

    First of all glad to be on with BuddyPress.

    Recently installed it to my website (facebookstatus.org) that gets a lot of hits (10k unique/day).

    I think BuddyPress is really great and I’m very excited to get everyone on my website involved however, I haven’t been able to properly utilize it yet.

    Ideally I’d like to create a “Post your own status area” where people can post their own funny facebook status updates and other people can see them, vote on them, and even post them to their own facebooks.

    The problem is the only feature I see being capable of this is the forums and even that is lacking some things.

    I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of me or could point me in the direction of a very capable and affordable programmer (I do this for fun, don’t really make any money on it).

    Facestrean plugin will allow sending forum posts and activity updates to facebook

    Thx @Modemlooper , I integrated Facestream pretty cool plug-in.

    Still need something more to be a dedicated “Wall” for people to easily post their status updates / vote up/down etc.

    Anyone else have ideas or know where I can find a good buddypress professional for a low price?

    Can’t you just use the form from the Activity page and use the Buddy Like plugin so people can LIKE a post?
