    I’m essentially deleting the red, and adding the green in it’s place…right?

    That is correct. No need to apologize, it’s better to ask than start chopping into code and wonder why it’s broken. :)

    You can automate the process though – if you search for “using diff files” or “using patch files” on google you should be able to work it out. I would very much recommend against doing that sort of thing manually.
