Ning Importer and BuddyPress Navigation

    Hi there

I have just installed the Ning Importer plugin and I’m having a challenging time getting it working. Here is the installation instructions as metnioned on the plugin website :

    * Install in your plugins folder and activate.
    * Download your Ning network export, using the Archiver tool as described here: http://help.ning.com/cgi-bin/ning.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=3796
    * Create a directory called ning-files in your wp-content directory.
    * Upload the content of your unzipped Ning export (a group of .json files, as well as several directories) to /wp-content/ning-files.
    * Visit the plugin panel at Dashboard > BuddyPress > Import From Ning

I am good up till the point of the final point : Visit the plugin panel at WHAT NOW? 🙂 There doesn’t seem to be any BuddyPress thing specifically in the dashboard navigation on the left there. It just has forums, groups, etc. etc.

Is this plugin just sadly out of date?

I’m running WordPress 3.9 …. it was installed as a subdomain install …. this wasn’t an upgrade ….. it is all functioning fine other than this issue …… I think it’s the latest version of BP ….. there have been no BP upgrades ….. I’m using a theme called KLEO ….. I haven’t modified any of the core files …. I have no custom functions ….. my KLEO theme didn’t automatically come with a copy of BP ….. Thanks!
