Not All groups showing in Drop Down when posting new topic

    @rossagrant

    Hi,

    When posting a new topic from thegroups directory page in BP you are presented with drop down to select which group to post the topic in.

    Now unfortunately I think this only shows the first 100 groups as I can’t see any more than that whilst scrolling through the topic dropdown list.

    Is there anyway to alter the number displayed as I will eventually have 3000 groups when the site launches.

    Thanks

    Ross:)

    Which version of WordPress and BuddyPress are you running?

    To post a new topic to a thread using the Group Forums Directory, you must be a member of that group and the group must be public. So, you will not have the option of selecting groups that are private or those of which you are not a member.

    Hey Jeff,

    I am using the latest versions of both BP and WP.

    I am a member of all groups on the site currently as it is just in development. I have 107 groups created, am logged in as admin, the user which created every group but only 100 of them are showing in the drop down.

    This happens when you click on the ‘Forums page’ and are looking at the forums directory.

    There is a post new topic button which then displays teh topic header, details and a drop down to select which group to post the topic in.

    Maybe the code is set to just display 100 groups?

    Thanks for your time!
