Plugin: supporter

    Well, say i have a buddypress community running and its fairly successful and i’ve put up a donation thing so as people can help keep the site running if they wish.

    How about something else, like say a supporter option. In example

    Non supporters have access to the basic theme, and adverts on their pages

    supporters have ads removed, and are given extra options (upload own avatars, disable adverts, extra themes)

    Check out wpmu supporter plguin, wpmudev premium. This is the only plugin I’ve seen so far.

    looks like it ticks all the boxes. Its just a shame about how much it costs to join the site.

    I’m a student for goodness sake :P

    I’ll wait and see if my site picks up or not first. Then perhaps if i do get an okay number of members i’ll consider it.
