PM messaging and @mention predictions

    Hi,

    I have 2 questions about how buddypress works:

    1. If I want to PM somebody, it looks like I need to be their friend in order for buddypress to predict their name, is that correct? Is there a way to set it up such that it always predicts names whether friends or not?

    2. If I want to mention someone in a reply, is there a way to have buddypress predict their name? I have tested @mentioning friends and non-friends in a reply and prediction doesn’t seem to work.

    2. You want auto-suggest with the body of a pm reply as you create it?
    If so, that is not currently available in BP.

    For #2, not looking for auto-suggest in the body of a PM, but auto-suggest in a regular topic reply.

    While I’m asking, is it possible to quote replies as well (i.e. if I wanted to reply to someones reply, I would quote their text and answer it)?

    You mean a forum reply? That, and quotes, would be a question for bbPress.
