Profile fields – I dont get it!
I’ve read through the forum posts but still not with it.
I’ve created a bunch of custom fields through the admin interrface. If I navigate to my own profile at http://localhost/members/andy/ I see the sub tabs on profile of
Public Edit Change Avatar.
Edit contains all the fields categorised in groups as per expectations.
Public contains nothing except the Basic(base) group – and even then only the Name field, I added: userType, as I want to differentiate some functionality for Industry members as opposed to regular members.
When I look at a friends profile Isee only the Basic field name: Name
Without coding something special they just seem to be there for the good of the account holder. What am I missing.
