[Resolved] facing 3 major issues with 1.6 update of buddypress

    First of all I would like to express my thanks to buddypress team members for providing such a awesome plugin. As I am new to wordpress buddypress system, I wud be really thankful if someone guide me through the process.

    Problem faced after 1.6 update

    1. email notification to the community users about activity feeds that was from the address noreply@domain.com changed to wordpress@domain.com is this change permanent? or I need to make changes in general setting?

    2. Previously buddypress activity feeds buttons “comment” can be accessed easily via wap from the operamini browser, but after the update, clicking the comment button, do reload the page but comment box doesnt appear. What changes do I need to do here?

    3. WordPress and buddypress credit line appeared at the footer, now the icon of wordpress is also at the top left hand side of the page with links from wordpress homepage, buddybar was good. now it appears that its wordpress takes it all, so can in future we can also get advertisement of wordpress in side bars, I fear!

    1. Yes, we changed this to make BuddyPress compatible with more servers. To change this WordPress email address, try a plugin like http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/send-from/ or ask on the WordPress.org forums for other recommendations.

    2. What theme (and version of the theme) are you using? What version was this working on? i.e. what version did you upgrade from.

    3. 1.6 uses the WordPress core toolbar, rather than BuddyPress’ old toolbar. The WordPress logo is added to the bar by WordPress itself.

    Thanks paul, I am using custom community theme version 1.8.9.1, I used my site from mobile wap operamini seamlessly from same version, before i upgrade 1.6 version of buddypress, It worked on previous version 1.5.7 Most of my buddypress powered community members like to use it from mobile, It would be highly appreciated if someone help me to fix it.

    Thanks paul for the link, Glad to know that, it will be fixed by next week, expecting it to be resolved by next week. I also am waiting for buddypress mobile version, though plugins like verve mobile, dudamobile are good, but activity page doesnt work smoothly with it. either it give white page or some error.
