BuddyPress.org

Scarform.com – Currently, I’m in the process of getting things together for the overall site and the features that I plan on bringing to it. The initial idea for the redesign was to create a way for people to link all of their online activity to a single page (a blog author page). Originally this was going to be accomplished with just a simple install of WordPress, but after looking over Buddypress, I found myself figuring that into the mix as well.

So far, I have:
– profile page that can be linked to: Twitter, XBL, Digg, Facebook, WordPress.com, Youtube, Delicious, deviantART, Flickr, Redbubble, Alexa, Playstation Network, Friendster, Linked In, Myspace, Stumbleupon, BlinkList, and Blogger (some of these are feeds, others are images, and others are just icon links).
– URL shortening services for Profile URLs (user initiated, not automatic).
– User can create their own blog @ scarform (http://scarform.com/user/).

As time progresses and more and more of the initial bugs in this early phase are worked out, more services will be pushed, and more profile options will be added. You can check out my public profile at this address: http://scarform.com/p/94830/.
