Should I use BuddyPress for…

    @slimndap

    In preperation for my visit to BuddyCamp Miami I would like to know for which type of projects I should consider using BuddyPress. It would be great if some of the experts could help me out.

    1. An online community of professional. Every member can set up a profile, highlighting his/her interest. Within the community contest can be set up. Member can participate and submit their contributions.

    2. A theatre website. Customers can see their transactions (tickets), set up wishlist and leave reviews. Ticket sales and CRM are handled by a third party solution.

    3. A website for a staffing firm. Candidates can set up a (private!) profile and subscribe to job mailings. Profile data is synced with a third party applicant tracking system.

    I am an experienced WordPress plugin developer, so I’m not afraid to conquer any technical hurdles. I am just wondering if it is logical to use BuddyPress in these cases.

    Thank you very much!

    Looking forward to meet some of you in Miami.

    Jeroen
