'Show Blog Posts' activity stream not working

Running BP 1.2-RC3(trunk#2727) for WP 2.9.1 single user. Not sure if this is a bug or some setting I need to activate somewhere. For members who have permission to blog to the site, their blog posts are not showing up under their member profiles. If you specifically set the filter dropdown to “Show Blog Posts”, it returns this message:

Sorry, there was no activity found. Please try a different filter.

This is a WP single-user installation, so members don’t get their own blogs like in WPMU. But I want to be able to have some users post to the main site blog, and their posts should be counted and accessible under their member profile. Help!

Make sure the blog is set as public and can be indexed by search engines.

Ok, cool, I didn’t know that was required, and I haven’t made it public because it’s just in testing mode right now. Thanks.

If it’s not set to public then it’s considered hidden, otherwise the posts would be recorded in activity streams and crawled by search engines.
