site went nuts 'wrong host'

    @anointed

    I have no idea how this happened and could really use some expert advise.

    Everything on the site was working perfectly until yesterday, and no plugins or changes were made to the site as far as I know.

    For some reason http://anointed.net/index.php works but http://anointed.net/ returns ‘wrong host’. I also cannot reach any subdomain on the wpmu/bp install such as http://community.anointed.net which is the bp install blog.

    I tried deactivating all plugins including buddypress but that made no difference.

    I double checked the .htaccess file and it is indeed correct.

    I checked directory permissions all are correct.

    I checked the sites ‘virtual’ config folder and it is correct.

    Really I have tried everything I can think of, but have no solution.

    Has anyone ever run into this problem before with ‘wrong host’ when no filename.html is appended to the url?

    thanks so much for any advice given. I’ll try just about anything at this point.

    I can get into the admin just fine, even thought maybe it was the theme, but when i try the theme browser and select another theme, the theme popup even says wrong host….

    this is the only site on the server with this issue, and is the only site running wpmu/bp
