Trouble with hyphenated username link

I ve seen several usernames links that include a hyphen having problems with linking to personal profiles.

Is this related to ticket # 1572 ?

It’s a known issue that @username works but @user-name does not. Not sure if that’s the problem you’re having.

Doh! I’ve used hyphen (-) instead of dot (.) in usernames so that they’d work. Apparently not.
