Why is site admin getting users' private messages?

    Hi there,

    We’re using WP 3.6 and BuddyPress 1.8.1. I just received a reply private message written from one member (user B) to another (user A) at my site admin email account (webmaster@)

    This is the first time this has happened. I’ve not knowingly configured anything to make that happen. Also, I didn’t see the previous private message from user A to user B. Did something change in a recent release of BP or is there a database corruption somewhere?

    Thanks for any tips or advice!

    It’s most likely the fact that one of your users was replying to the private message via email.

    Replying to a private message via email does not post a PM back to the user. In this case, these emails usually get sent to the site admin.
