'wp_insert_comment' and similiar hooks

    Hi,

    I am creating a function that hooks into the WordPress core hook ‘wp_insert_comment’ in a multisite environment. To my complete surprise, this function will not have the BuddyPress vars and functions available. Needless to say that I am depending on these functions.

    I am a bit lost – how is it possible that BuddyPress is not being initialized at this point?
