Buddypress crash

I´m trying to update Buddypress to the last version and I got this:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function bp_core_remove_subnav_item() in /home/xxxxxxxx/xxxxxxx/xxxxxxx/wp-content/plugins/buddypress-backwards-compatibility/bp-themes/bp-sn-parent/functions.php on line 317.
Line 317:
‘bp_core_remove_subnav_item( $bp->activity->slug, ‘groups’ );’
It don´t let me access backend or frontend anymore, so I did rename plugins and upload BP by ftp. After upoload finished, I did a upload of a new backwards compability plugin and renamed to the real name.
Still the same. Site down.
Ideas?

Remove the plugin “buddypress-backwards-compatibility” and see if it works, if it does, then notify Andy that his plugin is broken.
