    Hi

when a user posts something or comments on another users post, is it possible for them to edit what they have written i.e. an edit button ?

At the moments I have to delete the post or comment and re-type it

    Thanks

    Gibby

Editing your posts is possible in the forums, but not in the Activity streams. Which makes some sense, if you tilt your head the right way, because forums posts are forever, and activity disappears below the fold very quickly and is never seen again.

Yeah I have come to realize that there really isn’t that much of a need however it would be nice if you have just posted something and then realize a mistake you could change it before someone replies ….

I agree that a feature for editing activity stream items would be nice. Not even admins can do that.

yes, for example i’d like to be able to go in and edit if someone uses foul language. is there a way to edit activity streams?

allows editing top level status updates (not replies – think after 1.2.6 hits i can hook into a new filter)
