Ok here is the scenario…can be replicated by all users paying attention on our site 2.9.2/1.4.2.1 (latest stable of both)

Person sends private message to user—>User recepient is notifity in header (Square with a number) –> Recepeint replies to any/all messages –> Recepient goest to anypage on the site –>Recepient’s now STILL has a header notifying them of a private message–> Recepient again checks messages and there are NO new messages—> users then goes to another site area (anywhere) –> Private message notification is gone.

At first I thought this was either a caching plugin issue or browsers caching issue.. I’ve turned off all caching of the site and browser and this still happens… Doesn’t matter what broweser IE,FF, Chrome, Safari…etc.

Ideas? Thanks
