How to filter activity stream by type only in groups page

Hi, I’d like to filter my groups activity stream by type, but only on the groups page. Does anyone know how to achieve this? I’m thinking I would put some kind of if_group() conditional check in the entry.php, but I couldn’t find any function like this or whether this is proper logic. Can anyone direct me? Thanks
