[Resolved] BuddyPress kills my 3.5 upgrade
-
I’m running a large wp multisite, with shardb, and when BuddyPress is activated I get a fatal memory error and white screen across the install. I originally thought this was an issue with a parameter 2 error shardb was throwing, but we fixed that and the issue persists.
I was able to get the front page to load by massively increasing wp memory limit via define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘8192M’); in wp-config, but can’t get any other BP pages to load or admin pages to fully load (just get left sidebar in dash).
I have confirmed this is the case when no additional plugins or themes (beyond the default) are on the system. (Attempting to run) latest version of BP. As soon as I remove, the install is fine.
Only error being thrown by debug is “Notice: define() was called with an argument that is deprecated since version 3.0! The constant VHOST is deprecated. Use the boolean constant SUBDOMAIN_INSTALL in wp-config.php to enable a subdomain configuration. Use is_subdomain_install() to check whether a subdomain configuration is enabled. in /var/www/html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 2908”
Anyone have suggestions for additional troubleshooting? All suggestions/queries welcome.
