Forum thread activity update and their replies

    Apparently as you get activity stream update from forum thread posts and reply to that activity stream the reply remains a reply to the activity stream only and does not add to the thread itself. If this is working as intended is there a simple way of disabling the reply option from specific activity stream updates altogether or make them count as replies to the thread?
