YouTube videos not embedding

I noticed a while ago that all youtube videos posted on my group forums that once were embeded, are now being converted to hyperlinks.. Is this something with a new version o buddy/wordpress? Any ideas on how I can fix it?

I can’t replicate – works everywhere.
Try to embed using `[embed]link[/embed]`

Even using [embed], it doesn’t work..

I tried with vimeo and it works OK, youtube embedding works on the rest of the website too, everywhere but the forums..
Maybe the precedence of making it a clickable link is doing its thing before it can embed?
