    Are you referring to the to adminbar.
    You can put this in your functions.pjp

    
add_action('wp_loaded','custom_remove_adminbar_wpmenu');
function custom_remove_adminbar_wpmenu(){
 remove_action( 'admin_bar_menu', 'wp_admin_bar_wp_menu', 10 );   
    
}

    That will do it.
