Permalinks and Pagination

This is a “nit” but it is bothering me so I thought I’d ask.
I’ve implemented “pretty permalinks” at my site under development and everything is hooked up and working properly. The only thing that is bugging me is this:
When I click to view an activity post, I arrive at a permalink with a number at the end.
An example:
http://mydomain.com/members/user/activity/6/Is there any way to get rid of the trailing number?
