Manually add a member

    A few people are having problems registering on my buddypress installation. They say that they get caught in a loop. While I find the culprit for this, I would like to add them manually. I can’t find a way of doing this. Is there a way? I’ve looked at the S2 plugin, but that seems far too complicated for this simple operation.

    In your WordPress backend, scroll down to “Users” and click “Add New”.
    Users can then fill in their profiles.

    I now see that the WP installation combines authors and subscribers (Buddypress). So new subscribers can be added to this list from the dashboard. Thanks me.

    I’ll keep this inquiry here in case someone else finds themselves in this quandry.
