Hiding xprofile field

Hi,
A BP plugin Members Avatar Map needs to have a field “Latitude and Longitude” set. I would like to hide it from users and visitors. Is there a way to make that field visible ONLY to the administrator (not even the user whom it concerns)?
I have set the visibility option to “Admin Only” but it is still visible to everyone.
